Jonathan was the main driving force in building the current weight room and fitness facility at Central Technical School. With the help of the Principal, Rick Tarasuk, and Superintendant, Karen Falconer, Jonathan put together a state of the art fitness/weight room for the students. Jonathan also secured a sound system for the fitness room that was donated by Bay Bloor Radio. This facility is used by H&PE students, student athletes, students, and staff. It is not uncommon to find 40-80 students using the facility during lunch-time fitness or after school fitness.
Jonathan's new project is to revitalize and update the fitness room at his current school. Pictures to be posted in the near future! |

Jonathan is always encouraging, supporting, and motivating
students to participate in school athletics and achieve the
best they can with their academics. In his first year as
the Track and Field coach at Central Tech, he put together
a team of over 40 student athletes (an increase from just
12 participants the previous season). Jonathan takes
pride in the fact that the student athletes achieve success,
while having fun, when he is coaching them. However,
Jonathan's biggest joy is the fact that his student athletes
teach him something everyday, and that he can watch their
continued success after they leave high school.
